We Can Be Better. We Can Do Better.
Systems have failed us. That doesn’t mean we fail ourselves too.

I hear coughs on the train like it’s the middle of flu season.
I see rising numbers of illnesses I only heard about in cartoons made before we had herd immunity.
People out sick at least once a month. Folks wondering why they can’t focus or walk up a flight of stairs with ease.
Y’all trying to normalize entire families being sick for ten years years straight just because they have a toddler or kid in school.
Kids with post-viral brain damage without support resources or protection.
People attending mask required events and refusing to wear masks.
Gym goers coughing into their hands and immediately using communal gear.
Systems have failed us. That doesn’t we fail each other as well. Do better. Be better. Mask up.
